Acquisition of the facility

Located close to the Port of Brunswick, the facility benefits from logistics infrastructure well suited to exporting wood pellets to Albioma’s assets, particularly those in the French West Indies.

The facility processes wood residues sourced from the local forestry industry. The wood pellets produced by Archer are SBP-certified, a certification recognised across Europe as demonstrating compliance with biomass sustainability requirements.

This acquisition forms part of Albioma’s upstream integration strategy, already demonstrated through acquisitions in Canada and Australia. It helps diversify the Group’s sourcing regions and further strengthens the resilience of its supply chain.
